About the Yishuv

A house that will make you want to be better A lone oak tree stands on the edge of the road. An oak tree symbolizing strong roots planted in the place, the land of Gush Etzion, from time immemorial. Alon Shvut is a settlement that was established near this tree. It was named by Yigal Alon. The settlement is among the highest in Gush Etzion, rising to an altitude of 995 meters above sea level, so bring a sweater. The settlement is a national religious settlement, with a warm and loving community. Great emphasis is placed on loving the people, the Torah and the land.
