At the top of a high mountain, among vineyards and olive trees, springs and streams, lies Dolev, a religious community in the Talmonim Bloc.
The yishuv, which is hoke to about 3900 families, was established in 1983, and is one of a chain of yishuvim in the west Binyamin region.
The Dolev community’s most prominent strength is its vibrant mutual help network. It is a warm, growing community characterized by social cohesion, cooperation and involvement.
There is an extensive system of mutual help at times of both joy and sadness. Dolev residents are also involved in communal activity and volunteer in the various committees – education, culture, welfare, synagogue, Talmud Torah, landscaping, youth, and more.

Living in Dolev means finding a home.
The community was founded in 1984 and paved the way for the establishment of the Dolev–Talmonim bloc. Today, about 300 families live here, representing a wide range of ages—including many second-generation residents who chose to build their own homes here.
Living in Dolev means joining an active and united community.
Out of a strong sense of belonging and a special bond between the young and the veteran families, many initiatives have flourished in Dolev. The leading one is the renowned Dolev Girls’ School for at-risk youth. You can meet our teenagers building new scenic lookouts, playing music in the studio, or volunteering at the annual “Friends for Health” summer camp.
Living in Dolev means blending tradition with modern life.
The community rabbi plays an influential role in daily life. You will find a Talmud Torah for children, a study program for seniors, a wide variety of daily Torah classes, and a lifestyle that combines faith and action.
Living in Dolev means quality of life.
Thanks to its location in the heart of a nature reserve, you can go for a hike right outside your home, enjoy numerous trails, or dip in refreshing natural springs. During the summer months, the community offers a well-maintained separate swimming pool.
And what else? Everything you need:
Educational institutions nearby—from daycare through high school. Easy access to Modi’in, central Israel, and Jerusalem. And an open view that stretches all the way to the sea.
We invite you to join us and become an inseparable part of the Dolev community.
