Dolev
About the Yishuv
At the top of a high mountain, among vineyards and olive trees, springs and streams, lies Dolev, a religious community in the Talmonim Bloc.
The yishuv, which is hoke to about 3900 families, was established in 1983, and is one of a chain of yishuvim in the west Binyamin region.
The Dolev community’s most prominent strength is its vibrant mutual help network. It is a warm, growing community characterized by social cohesion, cooperation and involvement.
There is an extensive system of mutual help at times of both joy and sadness. Dolev residents are also involved in communal activity and volunteer in the various committees – education, culture, welfare, synagogue, Talmud Torah, landscaping, youth, and more.

About the Yishuv
The residents of Dolev are not only concerned with their own private homes and community but are also involved in national social and educational projects. One of these, a therapeutic high school for girls with special needs, is located on the yishuv.
There are other educational institutions on the yishuv too, as well as industrial buildings, independent businesses and the slopes of the yishuv boast a winery’s vineyard.
Nearby is Nachal Majur and the Nachal Dolev nature reserve, which stretches for miles around.
Dolev’s social experience includes regular cultural and leisure activities for all ages, and an extensive extra-curricular range of activities for adults and children.
