About the Yishuv

According to CBS (Central Bureau of Statistics) data, as of the end of 2018, 7,713 residents were resident in Karnei Shomron across 5 neighborhoods: Ginot Shomron, Neve Menachem and Karnei Shomron – the most prominent among them, and two other neighborhoods: Alonei Shiloh and Ramat Gilad. Residents of the New Oranim neighborhood located in the heart of the yishuv enjoy all the good it has to offer along with an established infrastructure of cultural and leisure centers that include a sports club and community center, pool, gym, Scouts and Bnei Akiva chapters, gymboree for children and a variety of other activities. At the shopping center located near New Oranim, you will enjoy the services of banks, health funds, pharmacies and Social Security, as well as a wide variety of shops, restaurants and businesses. As part of the overall goal of the community – to strengthen the education system from infancy to old age – Karnei Shomron has branded itself as the largest educational center in Samaria.
