About the Yishuv
Tene Omarim is a mixed community, in which about 170 secular, religious and traditional families live in harmony, young couples alongside older families. The extensive “mosaic-like” varietyof people contributes to the creation of a multifaceted settlement of a special character, where everyone is able to find his/her own place.
Tene is accessible to all key nodes of life in the Negev:7 minutes from Meitar, 10 minutes from Shoket Junction, 10 minutes from Highway 6 and 20 minutes from Beersheba.
Inside the yishuv there are a number of areas of great charm. On every side there is beautiful, desert and biblical landscape.
